HSSE consultancy for Ericsson Ghana office fit-out projects

Ericsson was undertaking multiple office fit-out projects in Ghana with evolving worksites, contractors and timelines. There was no unified HSSE framework to govern safety across the different project phases, and site teams lacked consistent risk management tools and incident response protocols.

We implemented a full HSSE management system tailored to the fit-out environment, including risk assessment registers, safe work procedures for each trade activity, and site-specific training for Ericsson staff and contractors. We also established incident investigation protocols and reporting channels to ensure near misses and events were captured and acted upon. All measures were phased to align with project milestones from mobilisation through to handover.

The client gained structured HSSE oversight across all fit-out projects, with documented procedures, trained personnel and clear accountability for safety. Incident reporting improved, and corrective actions were implemented faster, reducing downtime and enhancing contractor compliance.
